Graduated in arts and then obtained his law degree from Government Law College, Kozhikode. He entered active Congress politics through the Youth Congress in Kannur, working alongside senior leaders.

Elected to various cooperative institutions in Kannur. He played a key role in developing cooperative agricultural banks, providing essential credit lines to cashew and rubber cultivators in the region.
DCC President of Kannur
Appointed as the President of the District Congress Committee (DCC) in Kannur, successfully managing the party organization in a highly volatile political landscape.
Three-time Peravoor MLA
